Who are we, when we strip back the layers of who we think we’re supposed to be? For me, it’s RaNdY aNd BeLLe. Two aspects of my Being that both love and hate, that struggle and inspire, that envelop me in their ongoing negotiation. Every morning is a gamble, a battle of their energies. Which one will step out of bed?

Here lies a musical exploration of these two characters: their inner drives, abstract sounds and vocal loops that pull me in opposite directions. Their primal, contentious beats pulsing through my veins.

 

This new body of musical artwork attempts to impart thickly layered textures, painted in sound. The common thread running through all of the songs is that, stripped down raw, right down to the core, our personalities are not singular.
